The OTHM Level 5 Diploma in Psychology qualification comprises six compulsory units, totalising 120 credits, with a Total Qualification Time (TQT) of 1200 hours. The recommended Guided Learning Hours (GLH) for this qualification is a minimum of 600 hours.
To attain the OTHM Level 5 Diploma in Psychology, learners need to accumulate 120 credits.

The qualification is structured for one academic year of full-time study, with flexibility for part-time and distance learning.
The course is delivered through face-to-face sessions, including lectures, tutorials, seminars, and online resources, exclusively by approved centres.
Assessment and verification involve internal assessment by the centre and external verification by OTHM. The qualifications are criterion-referenced, focusing on achieving specified learning outcomes.
To attain a ‘pass’ for a unit, learners must furnish evidence demonstrating fulfilment of all learning outcomes and meeting standards per assessment criteria. Assessment criteria judgment is made by the Assessor, who must provide an audit trail showcasing the determination of learners’ overall achievement.
Upon successful completion of the OTHM Level 5 Diploma in Psychology, learners can pursue various academic pathways, including progression to a Level 6 Diploma in a related field or immediate entry into diverse employment opportunities, such as:
