The OTHM Level 3 Foundation Diploma in Employability and Workplace Skills consists of 6 mandatory units for a combined total of 60 credits, 600 hours Total Qualification Time (TQT) and 240 Guided Learning Hours (GLH) for the completed qualification.

This qualification is structured for completion within a single academic year for full-time study, with the added flexibility to cater to part-time and distance learning options. Approved centres exclusively deliver the qualification through face-to-face sessions, encompassing lectures, tutorials, seminars, as well as distance and online modes.
The assessment and verification process involves internal assessment by the centre and external verification by OTHM. The qualifications are criterion-referenced, focusing on the attainment of specified learning outcomes.
To attain a ’pass’ for a unit, learners must present evidence demonstrating the fulfillment of all learning outcomes and adherence to the standards outlined in the assessment criteria. The Assessor is responsible for making judgments regarding the successful fulfillment of assessment criteria, and an audit trail should be provided to transparently showcase the process leading to the determination of learners’ overall achievement.
