The OTHM Level 3 Diploma in Business Management qualification consists of 6 mandatory units making a combined total of 120 credits, 1200 hours Total Qualification Time (TQT) and 480 Guided Learning Hours (GLH) for the completed qualification.

The program is structured for a full-time study duration of one academic year, yet it offers flexibility to cater to part-time and distance learning formats.
Approved centres exclusively deliver the qualification, utilizing a diverse range of methods, including face-to-face sessions, lectures, tutorials, seminars, as well as distance and online modes of instruction
Internal assessment by the centre and external verification by OTHM characterize the evaluation process for all units within this qualification. The qualifications follow a criterion-referenced approach, focusing on the attainment of specified learning outcomes.
In order to attain a ’pass’ for a unit, learners are required to present evidence showcasing their fulfillment of all learning outcomes and adherence to the standards outlined in the assessment criteria. The Assessor is responsible for evaluating and determining whether learners have successfully met these criteria.

The OTHM Level 3 Diploma in Business Management qualification can be offered to learners from age 16. OTHM does not specify entry requirements for these qualifications, but delivery centres are required to ensure that learners admitted to the programme have sufficient capability at the right level to undertake the learning and assessment.
