Course Description
The GA Level 3 Diploma in Business Innovation and Entrepreneurial Skills is a comprehensive qualification designed to develop the knowledge, skills, and professional abilities needed to succeed as a business innovator or entrepreneur.
This course equips learners with the tools to:
- Plan and Envision a Business: Including legal formats, business planning, and predicting success.
- Manage Finance and Resources: Covering financial records, cashflow management, and human resources.
- Market and Grow a Business: Developing digital presence, marketing strategies, and decision-making.
- Improve and Sustain Operations: Reviewing performance, contingency planning, and preparing for disruption.
Upon completion, learners will be prepared to start their own business, manage an existing enterprise, or progress to higher education in business or a related field.
The GA Level 3 Diploma in Business Innovation and Entrepreneurial Skills consists of 12 mandatory units :
- Envisioning the Business (Business Planning) (12 credits)
- Envisioning the Business’s Legal Format (9 credits)
- Navigating the Legal Landscape of Business (10 credits)
- Predicting Business Success (9 credits)
- Essential Financial Records in Business (12 credits)
- Managing Business Cashflow (9 credits)
- Marketing a Business (12 credits)
- Developing a Digital Presence for a Business (10 credits)
- Optimising People Power in a Business (8 credits)
- Reviewing and Improving a Business (12 credits)
- Decision-Making in Business (9 credits)
- Contingency Planning in Business (8 credits)
This qualification is delivered online, allowing learners to study flexibly and access course materials remotely.
Assessment is via a portfolio of evidence demonstrating that learners have met all unit learning outcomes.
Learners may resubmit assessed work if required, with a recommended maximum of two resubmissions per assessment.
If a learner does not pass after the allowed resubmissions, additional support will be provided, such as targeted feedback, extra study materials, or alternative ways to demonstrate understanding, to help the learner succeed wherever possible. All resubmissions are assessed with the same standards as the original submission to ensure fairness and consistency

The qualification is available to learners aged 16 and over. Requirements include:
- Academic: English and Maths at GCSE levels A*-C / Grade 4 or above.
- Digital Skills: Suitable digital literacy (no specific prior qualification required).
- Language: Non-native English speakers require a minimum B2 CEFR level.
- Technology Access: Access to a computer with internet and standard office software.
- Identification: Valid ID required.
